These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the URCIVILWALA Design Studio website and any services we provide. By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.
URCIVILWALA Design Studio is the trading name of URCIVILWALA, a Udyam-registered small-scale enterprise (Registration No. UDYAM-MH-18-0388133) based in Andheri West, Mumbai. We provide civil work and home interiors services including tiling, waterproofing, electrical work, plumbing, painting, false ceiling, modular kitchen, bathroom renovation and related construction and interior work, serving Mumbai, Thane and Navi Mumbai.
Rate ranges published on our website (including all "True Cost" pages) are approximate ranges based on typical Mumbai site conditions for planning purposes only. They are not binding quotations.
A binding quotation is provided only after a physical site visit and in writing (WhatsApp message, PDF, or invoice). Actual cost depends on scope, materials chosen, site access, quantity, finish level and other conditions specific to your project.
We offer a free site visit for measurement and scope assessment within our service area (Mumbai, Thane, Navi Mumbai). Site visits outside this area may incur a nominal travel charge, disclosed in advance.
Standard payment terms for confirmed projects (unless otherwise agreed in writing):
Payments are accepted via UPI, bank transfer or cheque. Cash payments over statutory limits are not accepted.
GST: URCIVILWALA is a Udyam-registered small-scale enterprise (Registration No. UDYAM-MH-18-0388133) currently operating below the GST registration threshold. GST is not applicable on our invoices — the price we quote is the price you pay. Should our turnover exceed the GST threshold in future, GST at applicable rates would be added, with prior written notice.
Unless a quotation explicitly states "with material", materials such as tiles, sanitary ware, CP fittings, granite, quartz slabs, appliances and decorative items are to be supplied by the client. We use branded materials (Kajaria, Asian Paints, Polycab, Dr Fixit, Astral, GM Modular, Hindware, UltraTech) for materials we supply.
Materials once ordered from suppliers on the client's instruction are non-returnable and non-refundable.
Project timelines are estimates based on normal working conditions. Delays may occur due to society approvals, material shortages, unforeseen site conditions, weather, festivals, or other factors beyond our control. We will keep you informed of any material delays.
We provide a 12-month workmanship warranty from the date of project handover, covering defects arising from our execution (e.g. tile hollowness due to poor bonding, waterproofing leakage, loose electrical connections). The warranty does not cover:
If you cancel a confirmed project before work has started, we will refund the advance minus costs already incurred (site visits, drawings, materials ordered). If work has started, the amount payable will be calculated based on stage of completion, materials procured and labour deployed.
We may photograph completed work for our portfolio, website and social media. Identifying details will be omitted unless you give written permission. See our Privacy Policy for details.
All content on this website — rate tables, scope descriptions, photographs, layout and code — is the property of URCIVILWALA Design Studio. You may not copy, republish or use it for a competing commercial purpose without written permission. You may share links to our pages freely.
Our maximum liability for any claim arising out of a project shall not exceed the total amount paid by the client for that project. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses (e.g. rent for alternate accommodation, lost income during work).
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our website or services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
